Cardigans
Living in a city like London, you need to take a light cardigan in the evenings even during the summer. However, the cardigan doesn't exactly have to have a "wintery" feel to it. You can pick a neutral colour like powder pink, navy or beige. Keep in mind that a good quality vintage cardigan doesn't have any acrylic rather contains 100% wool or cashmere. Vintage cardigans often don't have very nice buttons, which you can easily replace by finding similar ones in other vintage clothing shops. You can also mix and match if you cannot find the exact colour or pattern.

Skirts
A full vintage skirt in the spring is a must-have outfit component. Pair it with a tee shirt and platform heels, and you are ready for a stroll in the park or a date. You can even wear it to occasions like office meetings or family dinners if it has a slightly formal look to it. You can find top-notch quality skirts in many colours and prints in vintage fashion stores. Floral and geometric prints go very well with plain tee shirts.

Pants
Vintage summer fashion enthusiasts do not believe in jeans. You can replace your winter jeans with some slacks or sailor trousers with high waist and wide leg. Because of their particular shape, they are flattering on many body shapes, and are comfortable at the same time. They are usually made of breathable fabrics and allow proper ventilation. However, wearing them with flats will be a serious fashion blasphemy, so make sure you pick some nice high heels to go with it.

A chiffon or silk blouse has the highest utility in spring, as it can be worn with practically everything. From sailor trousers and slacks to pencil skirts and shorts, blouses go well with all sorts of outfits. • Laces and pleats are the essence of vintage fashion clothing. The more pleats and lace you can incorporate, the trendier your outfit will be.
• Lastly, don't forget to add vintage-inspired pearls in the form of earrings, necklaces, hairpieces and bracelets.
